Multi-Faceted Facilities Promotes Great Sporting Experience for Participants
23 – 25 May, Bintan ------ For the first time ever, Nirwana Gardens successfully and safely hosted the Bintan Triathlon 2008.
With Nirwana Gardens as a brand new venue for this year’s triathlon, Asia Triathlon Group’s 3,000 participants (20% of them children) were treated to a simultaneously safer – yet challenging course. The swim course was held at the secluded bay of Nirwana Beach – known for its calm sea. The bike course took participants over a challenging section at Ria Bintan with the running segment seeing a run along the beach.
Nirwana Gardens enjoys a wide reputation for its vacations devoted to family fun with an increasing emphasis on sports and healthy lifestyles. Its wide swaths of beautiful beaches, rejuvenating wellness offerings are increasingly becoming a magnet for city-dwellers and sports fans alike.
Providing tranquility from cities of hustle and bustle, Nirwana Gardens is slated to host the triathlon again next year - with its lush greenery on its beachfront property as winning qualities for triathlon participants to turn their intentions into reality.

The next four years will see more triathlons with bigger cash prizes coming from the sponsors and organizers.
